Leigh Anne Fagin is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She completed her Master’s in Social Work at the University at Albany’s School of Social Welfare. While there, she was selected as a Hartford Internship in Aging Scholar and focused much of her academic study on the issues of aging in older adults. Since then, she has expanded her professional practice to concentrate on the full spectrum of adulthood. Leigh Anne’s clinical concentration includes the treatment of depression, anxiety, postpartum/peripartum issues, and trauma. Leigh Anne’s therapeutic orientation is in general eclectic with a behavioral focus. She incorporates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy based on her client’s needs. Her practice is affirming of individuals within the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Leigh Anne joined Alabama Psychiatry in November 2019. She is now accepting new patients at our Montgomery location.
