Vandelyn Harris, M.S.

Vandelyn is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. She graduated from Auburn University Montgomery in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Vandelyn attended Auburn University Montgomery from 2016-2018, at which time she earned a Master of Science in Psychology. During graduate school, she completed a clinical practicum at Alabama Psychiatry as a graduate level clinician. Vandelyn has worked in the non-profit spectra working with individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them in learning life skills and finding gainful employment. She has worked in psychology private practice since 2019, assisting with comprehensive diagnostic interviews and evaluation, and conducting psychometric testing, report writing, and treatment planning for both pediatric and adult populations, specializing in trauma, mood, ADHD, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Vandelyn also served as a therapist within a private practice historically. She joined Alabama Psychiatry in September of 2020 as an Allied Mental Health Professional and serves as a Clinical Assistant to Rebecca Sheree Bodiford, Ph.D. Vandelyn resides in Montgomery, Alabama, with her husband and beloved Labrador “Tater”. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family and friends, music, playing tennis, and trying new recipes
