Wendy Palkki is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She completed her Master’s in Social Work at Columbia University in 2004. Wendy has been working with a focus on adults and seniors. Clinical concentrations include individuals struggling with everyday life challenges, depression, anxiety, grief, crisis intervention, divorce, problems as it relates to the aging process, life uncertainties, and a entire realm of life issues that make it difficult to cope with everyday stress. Wendy believes in empowering individuals to identify their life challenges and work towards establishing healthy coping skills to improve each patient’s overall quality of life. An anonymous author summed it up nicely: “Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.” Wendy joined Alabama Psychiatry in April 2018. Wendy is now accepting new patients at our Montgomery location.
