Emma earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Auburn University in 2021. She then earned her master’s degree in social work from Auburn University in 2023. Emma completed clinical internships with the Alzheimer’s Association and the Adult Activity Center in Opelika. These internships allowed her to work with policy advocacy, providing psychoeducation to individuals and their families, and conducting dementia testing. She then received her LMSW in August of 2023, while working part time for a Jefferson County guardian and conservator firm. Afterward, she began her first post-graduate position working for Walker Baptist Medical Center as an adult psychiatric social worker. Emma also has experience working with program development, domestic violence intervention, sexual assault intervention and prevention, and acute mental health interventions.
