I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. I attended Stillman College, where I obtained my bachelor’s in biology in 2014. I then received my LPN in 2015 and associate degree in nursing in 2019 from Shelton State Community College. I previously worked at the Tuscaloosa VA Mental health facility in 2017 and St. Vincent’s East Behavioral Health as a charge nurse for 4 years. I then went on to receive my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama.
I currently work for JBS Craig Crisis Care Center where I specialize in care for patients who are actively experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. I gained clinical experience with Alabama psychiatry in Auburn for child and adolescents, Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham for adults and geriatrics, and at St. Vincent’s East outpatient.
I am happily married with 4 dogs. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, create music, and/or fishing at the lake. When I am not at work I am probably at the lake.
