Lakeesha Broughton-Nelson is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse practitioner. She received her both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Herzing University. She started her nursing career in Connecticut in 2008. She has experience working in respiratory care, home healthcare, and as a hospice case manager. Throughout this time, she provided care for patients from various demographics with a variety of acute and chronic illnesses, many of whom also had psychiatric needs. Since 2019 she has worked exclusively in psychiatry with both adult and geriatric patient populations.
