Linda is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Alabama and comes to our practice with 29 years of mental health experience. This experience spans a variety of settings which include emergency psychiatric medicine, inpatient, and outpatient mental health treatment. She graduated from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky in 1993 with a Master of Science in Social Worker. She has been trained in a variety of modalities and techniques some of which include (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, Havening Technique and Hypnotherapy. Linda has experience working with individuals whom have anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, grief counseling as well as those whom have had traumatic experiences.
