Simone Durand has worked in the field of mental health since 2005. Her experience includes clinical practice, nurse practitioner education, and program development. She has experience with special populations including trauma survivors, the rural and underserved, adults with severe mental illness, and pediatrics. Her interests include psychopharmacology, the neurophysiology underlying trauma-based disorders, and training PMHNP students and graduates.
